This 17.407km intercity road is a circumferential highway starting from the roundabout on Iwo Road, passing through Ofatedo to Ataoja Grammar School, through Ilesa Road and terminating at Osogbo township stadium roundabout. The road is constructed to serve as alternative routes to facilitate easy movement of goods and services around the State capital, reduce travel time in and out of the State and decongest traffic bottlenecks within the inner and urban areas of Osogbo metropolis.
