World Bank YESSO Workshop in Osun
The State of Osun is hosting the final Generic Operations Manual Review and Readiness Workshop on the World Bank youth employment program, YESSO (Youth Employment and Social Support Operation (YESSO).
The two-day workshop is holding at the Royal Park Hotel, Iloko-Ijesa. A total of seven states including Bauchi, Kwara, Oyo, Osun, Cross River, Niger and Ekiti are represented at the workshop. Representatives of the Federal Government and agencies such as National Directorate for Employment (NDE), National Planning Commission (NPC), Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), and National Poverty Eradication Program (NAPEP) are also present at the workshop.
The objective of the workshop is to finalize the generic Operations Manual, and sensitize all key staff of Federal Operations Coordinating Unit (FOCU), SOCU and designated Project Implementation Units (PIUs) at Federal and State levels to their roles and responsibility as well as deliverables on the YESSO support program.
The Bureau of Social Services (BOSS) is hosting the workshop for the state government of Osun.
